I saw a documentary by BBC on this topic about chicken sold in UK has same issue. They showed how chicken were mistreated and were genetically produced so they grow faster. One chef even showed the difference b/w a good chicken and a bad chicken. Former had strong bones and had to be broken with meat cleaver while the latter's was soft and could be cut with stake knife and in some cases metallic butter knife!!
