on that computer i would have to say windows 2000pro would be better for it, then windows xp pro would be

windows xp works better with a lot of ram and high-end CPU.
were windows 2000pro handle low end computer systems really good.

they still make update for windows 2000pro as will.
look into that.

building a computer is not really hard to do,
mother broad you would have to match it with the right CPU, Ram cards, video cards for it. power supply unit as will 459w up 600w is sweet.

tell your mom and dad that your windows is pirated and they are be in trouble if some one find out about it! they may go out and buy the real deal at a store.

on the other hand don't have them buy a OS Windows Vista CD for that old computer waste of money big time for it. the computer hardware can't handle Windows Vista ether.
