As it happens it's nothing like 99%. My XBox broke and I know two good friends that have had a similar problem - and I don't have that many friends.
Not complaining though. Microsoft fixed it within 5 days sent someone to pick up it up and hand delivered it back. As consoles become more powerful these problems may well occur. You can't build compact consoles in the same easily home fixed modular fashion of a pc. I think the console makers should spend a bit more time on cooling though.
