Hi all,
Well yesterday I came across an extraordinary news item on a PC game website. The site is
www.pcgameworld.com and the article was about a guy in the Philipines who shot a girl just because she was beating on a computer game!!!! He killed her with a home made shotgun because she was kicking his ass on the game and gently ribbing him. What the hell is going on? As I understand it, these games are supposed to bring people from all over the world together not end in bloodshed!!!! I know this is an isolated incident (thank God) but I was so shocked to read it and I read it 3 times just to make sure I wasn't going nuts!!!! For my own part I have found most of the people who play on-line games to be friendly, chatty, helpful and I have been lucky enough to make new friends who I am going to meet up with and all throught his great game Delta Force. Some people seem to take playing certain games far to seriously in my opinion because, after all they are just games and meant to be fun. I would like to hear anyone's comment on this. Tell me what you think about it. As I have said, this is an isolated incident but what the hell is the world coming to????
