I guess you mean the strip option, Not sure myself but when you mess with it when you come to save your .mis it asks if you want to save charecter map so i think its something to do with that but i aint been able to put anything in there to save lol.Maybe it will all come to light soon. Until then ill keep messing with it see if i can get it to do anything.....
