it really don't matter much when you get to 3.000 posting mark. life still go on and on and on. don't think about them post count when you get higher up, one day you look you got 3000 real fast.
i don't think it spam at all, many have posted their post count in the general area all the time.
to me spamming a forum is making up 2-8 threads or same posting like 2-20 times on the same subject. i don't think this has happen here.
