My sister got a nice knife when she helped a TV cheff (shes a cheff) and got a real nice Japanese knife, only problem is if you drop it, it will break lol (not a sign of bad quality in this case though, more to oposite)
And if you want quality knifes, get Japanese, their metal knowlage is out of this planet! Think Mike will correct me if I'm worng.
