everyone makes good maps on the custom terrains. there are allot of flat places on the terrains you have to search a little.
when you find a spot you have to tile em and build your base.
when i start building my maps i put a start player marker and a vehicle in the map, save it, start the new map and search the area in the vehicle for nice flat places to build on.
i always find allot. the snow terrains have the most flat places
