Just post it on the day, or a few hours before the day...
Even if we did do that, it would be far enough down the page that noone would see it (since it would be triggered as read first time they see it after the post, not when it opens), youd then have to post a bump post to bring it up as new, hence defeating the purpose of stopping spam by locking and opening it in the first place....
