Actually if you do this it should work:
1. Turn off computer and restart it.
2. Tap the F8 key and choose safe mode and press enter.
3. It will ask what operating to select, choose windows XP.
4. It will show two accounts, one will be Administrator.
5. Click on administrator and it should let you log in.
6. Go to control panel and user accounts and change the password.
If you don't want anyone getting into the system you can always put a password on the administrator in safe mode.
