Well, once more, I DON'T GET IT, but I fixed it. I reloaded the game and that didn't do any good. But all my saved games were still there. So in scouring the "Options" section (Audio), I decided to uncheck the 5.1 sound just to see if that made any difference. I've
been using that setting all along. Well, for whatever reason, it now works. I didn't realize that I also wasn't getting the voice commands that you get in the first person.
Anyway, the damned thing works as advertised now and - "Life Is Good".
