make a new project
transparent BG
make it 2 pixels wide 2 pixels tall
zoom all the way in
make one black square at top right and another at bottom left
then go edit define pattern
name it scanlines then exit that project without saving and use the paintbucket set to pattern and use scanlines
that easy. hope this helps ya bud
