never have attachment open up on their own.

i got a e-mail today my Outlook 2003 is set to not open any attachment will this e-mail had a attachment name of it was.

if you have it to open it up at first it will think this attachment is a web-page ( in real world it not its a zip file) all it takes is to try, what will happen is the real item the zip file will open up in the virus is let lose into your system.

any attachment you see as:
error.exe.htm
error.zip.htm
error.rnr.htm

this is not limited to htm it could be any combo like in: workd.exe.html or workd.zip.htm so one even fool.zip.doc
any time you see a combo extension to them lookout.

you have to watch-out for these attachment.

never open a combo file at all that you get in a e-mail. as any exe.HTML or zip.txt all these are trying to do is fool the system to think it some other thing then what it is.
