That is a very good sig, it doesn't appeal to you because you haven't been making sigs too long. You don't have the "Creativeness Eye" yet, I would say. As you get better and start designing more and longer, you will start to see the best sigs (most of the time) are very simple and unique. Thats why people win so many SOTW's and contests with them.
