well I appreciate your help, I'm pretty sure the video card has gone south, I may have o/c it too much, time for an upgrade anyway, thanks again!

no nothing added, and as far as the uninstall I just reformatted my drive and reinstalled everything from scratch so the install is fresh from the cd, with all updates, no mods or patches of anykind....
