gee check the standby options in your "display Properties"
under "Screen saver" you may have enable. click-on setting's change all option to "Never". what happens is the game is playing, or my case both i play a DVD or a game that fool thing dose not see what is going on so it kicks in, and shutdown, after i disable it works find thats been 3yrs now. Energy saving features of monitor Option in it are as follows: 1.) Trun off Monitor: [Never] or set it to the max 5hrs 2.) Turn off Hard disk: [Never] or set it to the max 5hrs 3.) System stand by: [Never] or set it to the max 5hrs Display drivier may not support this any more. i updated it and the new drivers don't support Standby so i disable it on 2 counts A.) Display Driviers will no longer work with this. B.) and it butt in when i watching a Tv/DVD movie or playing a game. i can do it manuly thats is shut it down or restart it up or even turn the monitor off and come back later turn it back on. My system has a DVD player and a Tv-Card in it. |
