Graphics

Ok, My first post in this forum but I need help baaaadddd.!!!!! I loaded DFBHD and am having a few issues.
For some reason, after about 2 or 3 minutes into the game, my graphics start going heywire. I have tried tweaking my graphics card for best qualit, best performance and still the same scenario. I am running a GForce Ti4200 Nvidia Chipset. Can someone please help...

sounds like your card is overheating.
tweak it down, check if the fan of your card is working, check if the PCI slot next to your card is empty.

thats all i can think of right now

Well the problem is that during game play, I get all the graphics like they are projecting from the item. In other words, I am getting major lines through the screen. Like pixel lines...Hard to explain.

i think i know what you mean, i've seen it
if yoe keep playing whith these glitches, have you noticed anything with the textures? colored spots, this kinda thing?
my friend had it, and the actions i recommended above helped

i would agree with nev;)

does this only happen with bhd?have you tried any other gfx demanding proggys?
maybe try a benchmarking proggy.heres a link to a benchmark but it`s a big dl

Yes, have seen all the color dots and all that god stuff. I use very graphic oriented programs. Encoding DVD's and such. Never have probs with those...I will see what I can do to try nevs ideas and see if that works.

Necroside 8sf 07-26-2003 01:09 PM

score 07-26-2003 03:10 PM

uh oh

Necroside 8sf 07-26-2003 03:41 PM

uh oh? what is that supposed to mean...lol

Steve 07-26-2003 06:24 PM

the Gainward 4200 got withdrawn after a global problem with their 4200 cards.

not all of them - i have a great working 4200 from Gainward.

The gainward were supposed to be the best on the market - and indeed if u got an ok one then they are freekin awesome - i know from personal experience.

but they had a problem . i dunno if u have the same problem but Gainward got so many complaints and shops received so many complaints and returns that shops stopped selling them.

the best thing u can do is try to take it back sayiogn it gives unsatisfactory performance - it will be under a 1 year manufacturer warranty at least.

send it back to gainward and they will replace it with a new one.

and if u have the problem after that..... :/

That uh oh
