Plagiarized Maps
 

I really enjoy making maps for DFLW, and am very happy that I can share them with any hosts that would like to use them via DFHQ.net. It suprised me tonight however to find one of my maps on another host's site with the name changed and the colored fog removed, but the entire rest of the map was exactly as I made it. Apparently the host who was not playing was presenting that map as his own.

It is totally unethical to change the name of anyone else's map. The map was my DC_Halloween-CQB_13, the name he changed it to was CQB-Halloween. Not very imaginative was he. I would hope players from CHN would read this, as that is where the host was from. However, I doubt if they read this FORUM.

If you do not know how to make maps, please do not plagiarize. LEARN HOW! DFHQ.net has many tutorials, and numerous others are on the net for free. Just do a search for: Delta Force Land Warrior Map Making. You will be suprised how much help there is out there. Remember also, "Trial and Error" is how we all got started after READING the downloaded Tutorials, and the manual that is on the DFLW CD.

There is also a seller on eBay who sells large amounts of maps that they likely got off the web for free.
