Teleporting Players or Killing them with events need help
I was wanting to set up trigger areas to teleport players or to kill them if they went into an area that was out of bounds. I have a map I made that has 3 choppers on each side that you have to get on to fly to the area where the fighting is going on and what I want to do is make the inbetween areas off limits for ppl running and swimming. Why anyone would want to run and swim for 2 minutes is beyond me but I think it would add something to the game. I also want to add this to some of my maps to keep base rapers from camping on the main respawns I have set. If you could help me I would really appreciate it.

basic you going to make a safe zone in each team area from base raper and try to keep all players in a kill zone were they can't get out of sounds cool to me wish i know how to help you most i seen some do is a mine field keep player going out of zone area.

u can fly helos in dflw and tfd aswell ;)
anyway, you can kill ppl within specific areas really easily: put in two area triggers select both right click > item attributes on the right change 'number' to something - must be different for each area. loerdown you will see some boxes select the 'health rate' box and type in a number, e.g. -99 will kill em instantly; -50 kills em pretty damn fast -10 slower -2 takes quite a while u get the picture :) hope this helps |
