Dedicated hosting problem......need some help please.
 

Ok heres the dilly yo!

I have cable internet,
D-link router,
2 win xp machines,
& 1 major [not needed] headache from trying to get this to work for me.

I have IPX installed on both machines,
I have the router port 17478 open.
& the same port directed to the host machine.(so the routher knows what to do with the packets)
I have tryed both DHCP and static LAN ip addresses.
I have also tried putting the host in the "DMZ".
I have also tryed to host a game in just my LAN,,,,,,
Nothing I have tried works.

My problem is that i can see my game on the novaworld list, I can connect to it but I get booted from the game after about 5 seconds (same in the LAN IP game), I have seen some others connect to my game and stay longer (only to leave because nobody else is there).

Anybody got the answer (seeing as novalogic tech support is non-existent)..........

i think this is a problme with the game currently.
aparrently Nova's patch made it worse :/

they will be working on ANOTHER patch which will be out soon i guess.

other than that there is not a lot u can do im afraid. there is a lot of hosts with the same problme from what i have seen
