No cd Crack Question
 

Hi guys,I installed the nocd crack last nite and have noticed that the opening shot on my tfd has gone 2 all little squares where the writing should be !! everything else in game is normal but it has done the same thing 2 my media player(windows)
This is the only thing I downloaded so I would like 2 uninstall it, but i just put it in2 my tfd file without checking what the files were so..........with all the stuff that is already in there I dont know which 1's 2 remove!:*(
Can any 1 please tell me what they will be called when unzipped in 2 the folder?
Any help would be much appreciated.

You dont remove it you overwrite it with the newest update

Thanks Zz I installed the latest update from here but it aborted on final install and said "Resourse file(SMALL PFF)could not be alocated,aborting" any1 know where I can get this file plz

You will need to reinstall and then use that uploaded update.
Small.pff is actually a huge file and your 56k wouldnt cut it even if you could get hold of it.

been looking at the small.pff and its aroun 94 MB's on my hd.
So if you get hold of it online Good luck with the downing its a &^% of a file. :p

hate to say it next time name the No Cd Patch "dftfd_09.exe"
then put it into the folder leave the dftfd.exe be it will work only make a shortcut to the no cd patch one and use that one
this way you don't have to remove it and still be able to use it.

no-cd patch may not work in novaworld server so use the stander dftfd.exe for that area ok.
(error stats are disable as it load in thier server in (DF:TFD) novaworld and stop there, i get it alot)

public/password area you can use i do beleave the no-cd patch will work "dftfd_09.exe" rename it to that to use will work.

as it is now redo the game over restill it & update it then add in the No-Cd patch but rename it ok.

Thanks guys ......I think my problem goes deeper than DF...have reinstalled 4 times now with no change!!.....
It's driving me nuts, all df start screens & my media player r showing these little squares........I really dont want 2 have 2 do a reformat........any ideas??

where did u get the no-cd crack?
i dont see any way that the nocd patch could do that.

got the patch via link back 2 here from our friction newsletter
But i think ur right it has nothing 2 do with patch......it was just that i didint have the prob b4 d/l but did after .....so i just made the assumption it was that .......

hi sally.....this might be a daft question but after you have uninstalled df4 have you rebooted your comp befor re-installing it?......If not this may be the problem as although you have "deleted" df4 the info is still in memory until you do a reboot........hope this helps..if not dunno gal good luck cya soon....:)

Hi WD ty 4 the reply & yes i did reboot, I have fixed the media player by getting new codecs so that interface is sorted but my DF games R still little squares!! I think i will need 2 dump everything including Med's & just keep my maps, (though once inside the game everything looks ok)
Any more Ideas before I start all over!!
GOD I COULD CRY !!
But I aint going 2!
