i'm not exactly sure what you mean id you mean to put an image into a foum message like:

http://dfhq.net/forum/images/reply.gif

you need to wrap the url with images tags eg.
[img$]http://www.blackbelt.com/myimage1.gif[/img$]

Take out the $, i used that to stop the software converting the tags.
