Hey Protector, when ur done with a Sig, Merge All(Flatten),
add a border usually 1 pixel, then export it as a .jpg with about 10-30 compression. Then go back to ur original file and hit undo a couple times so the border goes away and your layers come back (You are using multiple layers aren't you ?), then save that file as a .psp file so you can go back and edit it whenever u want. Put text and images that are pasted or transparent bars and so on, on different layers so u can change them later if u want. This all pertains to .jpg's.......gif's are another story if u want transparent area's to show web site background through your sig.
But it looks too me like your getting the hang of it, thats a great sig.....keep up the good work
Try this: open a new image 375x75, tranparent bg, add a new raster layer, add a Radial Gradient (Not Sunburst, the bottom 1) with 7 or 9 Repeats, any colors u like but I usually use black/white and colorize it later. Duplicate that layer: Layers-Duplicate, Then go to Effects-Plug In Filters-Flaming Pear-Swerve. Play with the Glue and CHOP MODE boxes and then keep hitting the Green ~ thingy. If u see something u like click ok and then Duplicate that layer and then do the same thing again to see if u get something better, then play with the blend modes on the Layer Palete. You'll be amazed at the backgrounds you can produce.....good luck
