First Time in months..
 

Playing in a public server at random. I picked BTU MAPS Sarge. Thinking some of the old time btu's would be in there but nope. Just some gator~btu~ guy and ginger {iba}. Into the second map Ginger says i'm speed cheating (since when is a cqb a speed cheat). Then all the sudden gator says it to. No one on my team or anyone els thought I was, but oh well it's btu's server and gator is btu so I left. Pitty though. I was having fun :*(.

THIS IS REALLY WHAT RUINED THE GAME FOR ME.

Anyways..... This is why no one ever sees me playing on any random public servers.

damn man that is harsh :( i guess they have never really seen the speeed cheat zoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. .... saw it the other day, some guy surfing on his stomach hehe was funny. zoomed right into the zone and left the game, i was looking forward to killin' the mofo to :D .

i think there is far less cheating that people say and / or speculate. the problem is people cannot take losing! if someone kills them then they must be cheating [yawn]

Yep you are right Stevie I have been saying the same thing. People automaticly after loosing start accusing others of cheating. Its like come on. I take it as a compliment though. Was told once by a host that if he knew how he would ban me. So I explained to him how to ban me and promised Id never return to his server. Problem is they are new at the game and have heard bad rumors. There for when they cant kill someone then it must be a cheat. LOL Anyway Panther we arnt playing DFLW anymore but have a dedicated server running for BHD name is "ansquad.com" Check it out you are welcome anytime. LOL Guess they dont know who panther is. LOL

There is next to jack all cheating on public servers. If its to be found at all its in the big nova servers.
Panther, Me and a chap called Gladiator jumped a server once and we were all punted one by one for using cheats.
In that instance no one in the squad whose server it was could name the cheat, just that we must have been.

Thing was, I am no where near as hot as Panther or Glad are but I did really well simply because they were collectivley the worst players I think I have ever seen. I understand they have been around some time so really there was no excuse at all.

If I had had the facility I would have punted each one of them for bringing the game into disrepute simply by being so boringly predictable in their movement and utterly without imagination in coming up with ways to deal with someone like Panther in a game.

Here is a quick tip btw for all you Panther fans out there.
Go in as a sniper in team games where Panther is on the opposing side, shoot him a few times but keep your cover. Within about 3-5 minutes he will make it his business to come looking for you.
Panther waits for you to cock up rather than having particularly great seeking skills so keep popping up so he can see you but then moving away from the action and he WILL come after you, thus saving the rest of your team from annhilation.
(If he does give up and head back, you can shoot him in the back of the head)

It had taken me quite sometime to learn to deal with Panther (one of my dearest online friends) in a game.

Preserverance is the only way to take him out. You have to get sneaky. In learning how to sneak up on him, now I am accused of cheating by popping up in the most unexpected places. I tried to explain once, "hey, look at my kills which are very view. If I were cheating, I think that I would choose to use a better one than the ""run forever to a hiding spot until someone gets close enough to knife"" cheat"

Playing in servers with the original ~VS~ players was great. The oppurtunities to learn, become angered, laugh, and be friends was awesome. I thank these guys and gals whom I will cherish throughout my life for being such great people.

Panther, my hat is off to you bud. I didn't realize all that you were doing to keep this site going. If I can ever get my DSL working, I will expect to see you once again on the battlefield. As usual, lying there with a puzzled look on your face saying, "How did you get there?" I will reply as usual, "Your rearend is grass, and I am the lawnmower. So, keep growing. I need the work." LOL
