i notice an intermittent click click click and was relieved that it was the front intake fan for coolin the hdd's and not an HDD it had a lot of wable in it...since i dont have money right now to replace it i stuck a large 10 inch zip tie in the front grill of the case and the fan speeded up and stopped clickin and it been runnin great ever since...knock on wood.... |

the ziptie applies just enough pressure to push the fan blades back and hold it in..
the little c clamp must have come off as soon as i figure out how to remove the fan i will check and fix it.there are a couple of screws i cant get too...its a 160 mm fan |
From what I can gather, with most pc towers today you can remove the front panel without having to touch any of the internal hardware.
Hope that's the situation in your case. |
i know i think it just snaps on but the snaps wont budge and i dont want to break any of the plastic..got to earch corsair for a manual
|
well as soon as i get some money i got to buy a new fan its is used on 6 to 8 models from corsair so it is availiable....yea......
