Problem with DF2 LAN, help
 

BHD worked fine in both PCs. But now I have another LAN problem,
this time with Delta Force 2 V1.00B.
It gives me the following error when I try to create a server in IP LAN mode, in both PCs:
It says 'Unable to Initialize Provider', any ideas about how to solve it? :dontknow:

Try searching for 'Open ports for Delta Force 2' ..
Sorry if i can't help like in the other post.

Delta Force 2 is a very old game & uses a different network routing protocol than current games (I think it's IPX or Internetwork Packet Exchange). Enabling it will solve the problem.

By the way, did you update the game to the latest version? There's probably a patch on the game (in the latest version) to make it work with current network routing protocols. I'm not 100% sure of this hence I don't have the game but it something that you need to look into.

Might be an idea to check the ports on these lists but the message seems a bit weird to just be a port issue?


Cheaptrick had already solved it, found this: That says the exact samething that cheaptrick posted above (this is for land warrior but works the same way it seems :))
