need df2 multiplayer server help
 

hello community ive been a player of df2 since i was 15 (6 years) ive done all the recommended updates from novaworld, ive done the VON patch and also got the anti-cheat program..

now when i enter a server i enter no problems but after 10 seconds it ends my connection and i exit the server.

it update the servers location to the game

1.) game update
(better download it then game get the newer update flow big time)
2.) servers update.
(Novalogic, inc they move all the hardware servers to a new building so all the servers have a new URL address to them)
3.) use any anti-cheaters tools! check see they release a newer updated version then the one your using.
4.) check router settings and firewall setting! they can block some ports and maybe stealthmod is enable if so disable it.

then again the host of the server may have punted you out and there may not be anything bad about the game

If you are using the Anti Cheat Patch "ACP" you will be booted from any server that is not running it. That program died out in 2003 mate, so if that is what you mean by anti cheat program get rid of it.

Do people really still play this game? If so, I'm definitely going to download it.
