DF pinger Help
 

Hey guys I just got a new pc with vista and I want to use df pinger to play bhd but I don't know how to find my dfbhd.exe file can anyone help me?

should be: C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down

or the Hard drive you have instill it into ?:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down

I just looked I right clicked ,windows explored, went to program files, went to novalogic ,went to black hawk down ,opened and do not see a dfbhd.exe file any where!!

you may not see it listed as dfbhd.exe but you may see it as dfbhd

look try this shortcut i added to attachment

place the shortcut on desktop and open it see what happens ok

for vista you may have to change the setting for in the shorcut for "compatibility" set to Windows Xp or Windows 2000. don't think it was made to run or handle Vista setting

your set as administrator log-in on your new computer? if not some items may not get fully install, only thing i can think of items being block application or software install

ok i found it but now I have a socket error #10051 yall know anything about that?

only thing i can find reference to socket error 10051 has do with with e-mail program like MS Office outlook.

check your firewall see if it all items are unblock it or its not blocking it like stealth mod or anti-port scan.

i search google for that error only find reference to outlook error

ok socket error gone now it says "sever may be down" "Error: connection timed out" know anything about that?

novaworld servers are off line, probably not helping you much

ok for socket error you need to refresh your cookies at novaworld by signing in, simply sign in and away you go. as for the pinger if you do not run program as administrator it will not work !
