windows vista and DF2
 

does anyone know how to get DF2 to work with Vista???????:mad:
I've tried the compatibility, the game just plain freezes or i get a does not recognize os message, and can play on pc but not online, and yes tried the admin option too but no luck

Well what problem do you have? Please, don't just say that, explain as much as you can...

Run DF2 in compatibility mode under admin rights and if playing online download the .exe patcher at novalogic.com.

1.) install the game as normal
2.) get the update for DF2

3.) my download page file name "NLExePatcher.zip" get this and run it follow the direction as it walk you through it ok (made by Novalogic, inc)

1st install Game update, 2nd run NLExePatcher.exe in tha order

4.) after all updates done with now lets edited that shortcut for DF2
A.) right click-on the shortcut for DF2> see "Properties.." click-on it > uptop you see "compatibility.." tap uptop click-on it> down you should see something to chaing the windows compatibility setting for it to run in! set to "Windows 98/Me" pick that one and put a check next to it. next click-on "Ok" now play the game.

i can't say 100% it will work in Vista or not, i heard other have it running in it. then again Vista is DX11 now days i think still may work ok with it as will.
