We have a ton of annoy sparrows that live in our trees. I am trying to think of a good way to get rid of them.


Maybe I should just throw a cat up there :)

Too bad I don`t live in a rural area, then I could just take out our shotgun. :)

get a pelletgun, the pump type are quiet and dont have much range but are good for pest controll.

i use bottle rockets to scarem off around here.

i got some that ya cant get anymore, they are like 12-14yrs old, so old that they dont have the grams on te side and warnings like the new ones, these will blow ya hand off, lol.

but if ya want a good challenge try shooting them with paintball gun, if ya can get to where ya can hit them with that whilest bouncin around, no 1 will be able to stand aganst ya in paintball match, thats how im able to hit a gallon jug with my paintballgun at 40yards with no sights like i did in that clip i posted a while back.

the gun will become a extencion of you so ya wont really need sights, ya dont have time to usem aganst the little tweety buggers anyway.

I cleared out most the birds in my yard for a year via the use of apples and bb gun.

I never shot to kill, but hitting the branch with in a foot of the bird sent them flying. Same with apples :D

That year there was a big difference in the amount of birds

Problem is that I live in a subdivision so I don`t want to shoot someone's windows out. :)

Get one of those air horn things - stand under tree, point up - let it rip!

ulrtasonic repellant, though may piss off any dogs in the neighbourhood aswell...

put some ribbons up there! they can't stand see things move around them as the wins blow the ribbons around.

check your local craft store they would have a lot of ribbons really cheap by the spool

go green use cotton ribbons they will break down after a time.

1/2 inch wide is best

i can hear them things, guy i worked with said i must be part rat or something, i crank it up and it emits a high pitched whine like a cap charger, i can also hear a tv flyback working.
