cutting down tree, brush and my leg
i was out cutting a lot of tree's down and logs up with my 20" bar chainsaw and a vine snag the chainsaw and wipe it almost into my left leg, thank god it only rip up my pants and broke the skin 4inch's long two lines only.
i was cutting very low to the ground almost level and a vine some how found it way to snag the saw, next i know i feel like a bee sting on my upper part of my leg about 6 inch's about my kneel cap. what a shocker that was! around 16:00hrs (4pm) sat-day. funny i was going to call it a day and stop then baam! some of the tree are like 20ft to 80ft tall in the area i cutting up |
wow, your very lucky William, i have tried to use a chainsaw before and i am terrible at it so that is why i don't

yea it was over my aunts home she been bugging me to do her a favor and remove some trees (10 trees) infront of her home and out by the street (12trees).
so i was doing this as a freebie being nice |
will its almost all heal up now
i replace parts on four chainsaw 1.) *mix gas/oil-chainsaw 20": chainsaw blade to bad had to replace it, only to find out the Gear that turn the chain is too bad to use have to replace it totally. 2.) *elect-chain 10" shorting up the chain blade from 12" to 10" gotten to long to make it last longer. 3.) *elect chainsaw 14" replace a strip screw that hold the gear wheel in place, custom cut the screw replacement to size was too long. 4.) elect-chainsaw jaw 6": was no then bad about it. only needed the chain (blade) tighten up is all. think later on replace 3 of the chainsaws bar for all. 10", 14", 20" bars its funny i known bars and chainsaws blade ware-out, but never think about the gear that turn the chainsaw blade around would ware-out, learn about that today when i found out about the 20" chainsaw blade was not lining up right when it was running around. gear has a cut edge in it and the chain would follow it and were every it lead to can damage the unit housing. items can ware-out on chainsaws 1.) Chainsaw blades can be resharpen 2.) chain blade can be shorting but there is a limited, if there too much slack in it no good totally. 3.) chainsaw bar can ware-out 4.) chainsaw gear that turn the chain blade can ware-out, if the chain falls off it can damage the gear realfast |
