can't view DFHQ from 2nd comp on lan
 

Hi WEB HEADS,
I'm posting this from the first computer on the lan. For some odd reason ever since the server change with DFHQ I have not been able to access it from my computer (second on lan). I cannot access Novaworld main page either. I've dumped my cookies and history bunch of times. I've talked to my computer nicely and also spit on the monitor.... nothing seems to work. I've reset the defaults in IE and have tried using Opera 5 as a browser as well.
Now to insult to injury I can't view my forums hosted by DFHQ after a simple skin change there.

I'd like to think I'm a bit sharper than the average box of rocks.... but I NEED SOME HELP!!:eek:

We moved servers again (same host, newer server), but nothing changed. There wasent any downtime and the dns for the domain stayed the same. And for not being able to access your forums it's got me stumped cause a skin change wouldn't cause your computer not to connect to the server. I would say it's somthing with your in home lan.

I may have to format harddrive and clean things up. I don't know if we can have it hosted else where or changing the url.

DFHQ just doesn't seem to like me... :*( I'll keep working in it...

Are u able 2 c other webpages then? or is it just nova and DFHQ?

just novalogic, novaworld and this site. I can see the lobbies though. This has really bent my brain in two...

Hmmm, weird.....maybe IE6.0 or 5.5 will do the trick (if u werent using them at the moment then).

If the gateway wasn't set right u aren't able to see any pages at all. Since this isn't the problem, I have no idea wat could be the problem.......

Thanks for the suggestion. I did try 5.5, but all I had was the Portuguese version. I heard 6 wasn't so reliable so I didn't go that route.
