phmailer subject validation
Hello everyone...
I'd like to modify the "subject" field so that a seclection is required... Please choose --> Yes No Thanks! Glenn |
do you also want "yes" or "no" as your subject?
|
Thanks for the quick response. I used the "yes" and "no" as an example. I actually want the options to be:
Please choose Augusta Bangor Biddeford Brunswick Lewiston Portland Portsmouth Windham With each going to a different e-mail address. |
That feature is already built into the script... Open phmailer.php and change $use_subject_drop to true and modify $subjects and $emails to your liking.

Hi Scott,
I apologize if I'm missing something. I've got the form working the way I want other than I would like the subject drop down to be required. The way I have it set up now, many people don't select one of the options. They leave the first option selected (Augusta), so many of the messages get delivered to the wrong address. Current options in drop down: Augusta Bangor Biddeford Brunswick Lewiston Portland Portsmouth Windham Thanks! |
Hi Scott,
I was wondering if you had any further infor for me on this....thanks! |

Replace your script with the script below. Pay attention to how the subjects and emails are set in the arrays. The first subject is "Please select" while the first email is blank. This is a quick hack that should work for you.
