Far Cry 2 Teaser Trailer
 

Ubisoft has released a new Far Cry 2 trailer, showcasing this first person shooter sequel in the works at Ubisoft's Montreal studio. Developed for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, Far Cry 2 is scheduled to ship in Spring 2009.

i dont really feel teased :/

what i understand its going tobe a stander real world combat game not like Far Cry 1st came out, no mutants in it or bio-weapons in it.

other then great terrain and plants life i think i would pass on it.

i got to have that scare factor to it, monsters and all.

not some substander cambat there are many already made game.

maybe there a law enforce and they had to lower the stander for rating in their area to selll it

think it should pickup were it left off from! a new project X-Farcry has started up and now it's even worst then before and jack get stuck right into the meddle of it again and now he has to clean it up the land with blood.

Actually TBH you don't know that as a fact yet. Maybe there will be monsters...

i saw a tech demo for far cry 2, the dude tellin everyone about it said there wouldnt be any trigens, all realistic this time.

Oh okay, my bad lol. Well they might consider adding in non-realistic stuff... ya never know...

Anyways, do you know if it'll be in the same universe as FC1?

but it takes place in the plains of africa not an island this time round

I think overall he was trying to say that the game would be better off with stuff like aliens and mutants rather than the "all realistic" stuff, which we see in heaps of games these days.

I myself think that if the game didn't have mutants, etc. it wouldn't be a sub-standard. A game company can make a game as generic as possible without anything mysterious or any of that sci-fi stuff and still I reckon they'd be able to call it a really really great game.

By the way Far Cry is a name of a "Bio-weapon research program" that gone bad and Jack got pull right into the meddle of it all. it started out as a Scifi Game to start with now going to end up as another real world combat game? gee

only thing that teaser proves is its got an realistic environment, and im hoping that they dont put stupid aliens or mutants in it.. i swear i thought crysis single player was gr8 until the aliens arrive.. and it used millions of rounds just to kill them... meh rant over

i'm sure they'll try to sneak 'em in... and ruin the ******* game!!!!
