I just picked one up, after saving a couple pay checks...it's amazing. I love being able to browse youtube and the internet on my iPod! I love walking into starbucks, surfing the net with something that fits in the palm of my hand. And I do it all classy like, with music beating in my ears.

Okay, so I'm a walking ad for apple, but still. This thing is sick! I suggest the next time your in some sort of technology store you try it out.

(The 80gb iPod classic is nice too, that's next on my list just for fun)

BTW can you use it as a planner like put notes in it?

I was disappointed. You can add in contacts into it (directly). You can go online. Yet you can add notes, or manage your calander. I assume they'll add these features in to the 2nd Generation.

Yep. My PalmOne Smartphone can take on any of these new fancy gadget any time. ;)

Anywho.....why not just get a laptop (about the same price as an IPhone).

It's about 200 more for the 16gb, and I would have to sign with AT&T.

Lastly the iTouchs are sleeker and have a better screen anyways.

i'd get an itouch because i dont have an mp3 player currently, and i'd get a better phone than the iphone :) = win.

and i agree with the contract with at&t ... i have them .. my phones a blackjack .. i hate them both

I have an At&T phone... I forget to lock the freaking keys so it always logs me on to the net and they charge me.

Hmm... what is better than an Iphone steve? I think Palm has some pretty sweet phones out as well.
