Times like these I wish I had a rifle.

As you know, I was up north on vacation this summer. Well these are creatures that you have to watch out for on ther roads up there, they are extreemly unpredictable!

Anyways, it would of been nice to get some meat with me home, but I bet the owner would be angry if I took the life of their rudolf :D There ware alot of them though! Would be nice to sell as the meat goes for $30 per pound

And here's a nice view. Note I'm not the photographer of these, I was the one trying not to hit rudolf at the top pic lol

dont really need a rifle, ya can do like my cousin did, make a nice pushbar and put it on ya truck and hitthe thing at 40mph and say it was accident and it jumped in front of ya truck, he did that like 8 times i know of b4 they got suspicious,.

hmmm sir you have had 8 accidents involving deer in your area, lol.

and i alway got me trusty ol mauser M48 7.92x57 in my car and 100rnds of ammo for if i ever see the things where i wish i had a gun, lol.

Just a knife would do, but it's a more clashy topic title if you add rifle ;)

Butching a raindeer was part of the Arctic Rangers training, but it no longer exist, not even the arctic survival training (Was the worlds best in it's kind) is now gone, because everyone that's elected takes a part of the armed forces in Sweden :(

Mauser 98K 08-28-2007 02:25 PM

ya can learn yaself, tha is here i got my info for FM23-10 marksman training and a few other little items like the feild manual for the special forces and such and i played some military guys online in DFLW and BHD i used some of the tactics i read in the sniper manual in BHD and 1 guy asked if i had a cheat or something because in 3 games they never found me and i was getting them from 1000m+ with the barret lol.

im shure ya can find the methods used in getting a deer with a knife in one of the manuals, the easiest way is to make a spear with it, and if ya can find a hikory tree ya can make a bow and use reed stalks as arrows and ya can also lear to preesure flick your own arrowheads.

You missunderstood my post, I don't want to lern how to butcher a raindeer with a knife, it would be illegal and pointless as you still have the pay for the raindeer, I just made a comment about the politicians getting rid of the worlds best Arctic survival training that was part of the Arctic Ranger training which is now also gone :p

started with a pelletgun when i was just able to hold it up at around 5yrs old i think and been shooting ever since so about 18-19yrs experience, used to shoot my spent 22hulls at 20-30ft with iron sights and used to love shooting a playing card in half by shooting it facing longways not flat aganst the wall, that is like a 64th of an inch target to shoot.

now i entertain myself by shooting the flowers off the bushes in the bottom of the holler behind my house.

becareful on hunting them some time they can turn the table and hunt you instead they be the ones doing the hunting.

you can lose a leg real fast with them.
