music and dialogue
 

Hey, how do you add music and dialogue (ie. Black Hawk Down!) to your missions that you make?
I'm talking about the game: Black Hawk Down.

you asking about the sound files that are already in the pff files or you asking about making up new sound file to add to the pff files (MOD)

Huh? Wait...hold on. I'm sort of new to all of this and I'm not much of a computer geek (no offense.) I know that there is some pff thingy in there. But, sometimes people have missions and for some reason they have the soldiers say things and music in the background. If I had that stuff, it would make my missions ten times better.

When you hear people talking ingame, the game is using something called WAC. the WAC for your mission is nonexistant until the MED makes one, the original med that came with the game doesnt have that option, you can download the unlocked med that does a lot more here:

When you open that med, theres an option for opening the WAC under the tools tab, there is where the med makes the wac file. But now you have a wac file, but its empty. here you can download the tutorial on how to work up a wac.

and now for music, once again, you'll need the unlocked MED. In the general information screen, at the bottom, in global effects, theres music and a small text bar. 1 through 20 a legit. In order to start the music, you need to make area triggers. and theres a lot to explain and some of the research i have to give credit to others. You can see the thread here on dfbarracks

Thanks...but when I tried to download; the barracks said I couldnt and that I reffered by...that was it. Thanks for putting your time into giving me information.

did you signup with the site?

are you using a download manager of some type? to help to download files on a site? if so disable it then try again to download a file see if that works

I didn't sign up and I don't have a download thingy. I just download.
