404 on dif server prob
 

Hey,

I keep getting this prob where i click a link or type an addrfess and it looks for the last half of the address on a dif server usually DFHQ , ICQ or google....

I been to ICQ 1 time..... used to be my start page when i put icq on pc it changed it...... GOOGLE .. .i got the search bar of that but dunno if it was my start page... DFHQ is my current start page...

and its not just the PCX file either... it happens ALL THE TIME ... its ANNOYING AS

Internet Explorer can start acting weird for so many reasons but the main one when stuff like this happening is to clear the cache.
If you havent already then go to Tools> INternet Options > and click delete temporary internet files. Make sure you check delete ALL offline content.

Please accept my apologies if you have tried this and think I am patronising. But it does appear as if Internet Explorer is trying to find all the URLS from its cached DFHQ files rather than looking for them properly. LAZY INTERNET EXPLORER! BAD IE!

run ur virus checker
also have a quick check through ur prog files and c:\windows to look for any progs u did not put there.
i had this prog install it's self in my win dir a few days ago which changes my start page and dialing properties.
