wondering if any1 can help me. i cant update dfx. when i log on to play it says a new update is available and when i click to update nothing happens, it cant connect to any server. when i download the update from dfhq it says the update had taken but when i go to play it tells me again that a new update is available and i cannot play multiplayer games.

any1 any ideas what could be causing this.

the update i got from dfhq, i put in my dfx folder and updated from there, the same as u would do for bhdts. if this is not right plz tell me.

It could be a installation error of your DFX software. Try uninstalling DFX and then reinstall it.

Uninstall, then clean out the registry with p.e regcleaner. reboot, install again, download the update from here and apply..
I think something stays in the registry.. And thus resulting in this error..

Or

Did you install it once on the pc?

How about uninstalling, and deleting your DFX folder, then reinstalling?

And BTW, did you select your DFX .exe when updating?

tryed all of what u say still wont go. tryed it on 4 pc still the same
wont let me play online

put jo in get the same probs with that wont update.

from nova moved all services these games wont update

there is a newer update out
1.6.9.3 out only way to get it is update with-in the game.

you have a better chance getting it by using the "REVUPDAT.exe

location: C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Xtreme

there you find with in the folder REVUPDAT.exe open it then let it search for new update & download the files.

something like 10mb insize

thats from 1.6.5.0 to 1.6.9.3

its not listed on novalogic.com update files to download at all. only way get it is inside the game or the game folder

i needed to update it too, seem i was having the same trouble as you was having.

do the same thing for JOTR as will, you be ok then.

download the update for "JOTR or JOTR-E" and instill the update after use the revupdate.exe in the game (JOTR) folder as will. to double check for newer updates not listed.
