Tired of Windows and Can't afford Mac Get Linux
 

I'm trying www.ubuntu.com and it looks interesting to me. Check it out.

hate to say this Windows is all i know, i go get this i would have to learn a whole new ballgame! beside i don't think my games i have would run in it ether Apple or Linux.

thats encluding hardware as will.

crap the whole hardware totally.

only thing i do know will work with linux is my Intel MOB Bois and Intel Pent 4 3.67 (clocked) chipset they been updated for Windows Vista and Lunx was on the listing.

I'm branching out in Linux and Mac. Been using Unix at work for a while now and it's solid as a rock. Recently started using Mac at work, with the new job. Looks interesting as well. I've a Windows XP Home and two Prof Machines. Overwriting W2K Machine with Linux as I type. Anyone where to get good Mac Machines, besides www.apple.com ? :D

Having Technical difficulties during install here. Looks like Ubuntu has issues with my machine... Screen dies in Graphical and Text based installs. I can still hear CD and HDD working overtime. Any ideas?
