A New Gaming Community
 

Hello every one! I am starting a website that is still being worked on and fine tuned. It is a gaming website where gamers from everywhere can come and download useful tools and updates, or even maps. There is also a forums where one can talk to other gamers around the world about games they like and not necesarily just PC games. There is also going to be a Sig of the Month contest starting up in a little while. I am hoping this will become a big community. Soon i will have some servers running for different PC games and possibly get some Stats for those servers. Come check it out! The site is DF-HO Gaming Community . Or just come visit our FORUMS .

honestly all I'm saying is this, PHP_NUKE isn't the best community CMS. I'd suggest looking into something like e107 or a lot of other things...also the theme is slow loading.

EDIT: Also I would add the ads after you build up a user base of at least 50-100 members, because when I see ads it's immediately a deturrent!

Kinda agree lol.

I kinda hate PHP-Nuke as the themes are kinda slowish and stuff, but sites can be masterpieces with PHP-Nuke!

have to agreed all so, with the ads keep them small in-size and not a lot of them. never use pop-up ads they really turn other off and in most case people come there use some type of anti-pop ups tools.

i really hate flash ads going across the screen when i try to read something on a site. i leave the site and never go back to it.

agree with u Chrisy. i also hate nuke, it was the first portal system i use when i started web design course and i got hacked it too many times, i learned my lession after 10 reinstalls lol

wot do u need mealy php asp or java ???

i need help with php scripts and stuff. like currently im trying to set up a TS block but cant get it to work quite right. i might need help with other future projects to.
