Even though I'm on 128MB of RAM that shows up for me too...

What if there's a file in the DFLW folder that thinks it's like that?

i talk to other besides Scott they mostly say it only the game it is goofing up is all, can't tell what you have or running over more then 1024mb of ram. leave it be and play the game.

the message is basic a mistake the game is reading and don't know what to make of it. so it popup that error. click-on ok and play the game as it is.

when it happens, i'd check task manager to see if DFLW or anything else is using up all your ram.

tbh it would suggest that DFLW has a problem, seeing as it only happens on that game.

in Task manager, you can also check this... click on the Performance tab. bottom left it says

Total
Limit
Peak

if the Peak value is higher than the Limit value, then something has been using up all the RAM.

seeing as you wont be doing anything that uses all your ram (e.g. palying dflw), some proggy is screwing up.

do you run dflw in any compatability mode?

Hellfighter 01-31-2007 08:27 AM

Asker Steve:
Total: 471388
Limit: 2987056
Peak: 472348

all normal none higher then they should be.

running in compatability mode: no

Hmm...

I just realized it doesn't show that page file thing for me on LW...

And when the system's going slow and it boosts up the paging file, it doesn't show that window in BHD...

Maybe there's processes that are hogging big amounts of memory...

chris if there to much page file being use it can lag the system down lot.

ram x 1.5 = total page file should be set.

page fiie use the Hard drive space on it to use, other call page file as poorman ram do to its not the best way to work or run software with.

128mb
X 1.5
192mb page file

2048mb (2gb)
X 1.5
3072mb page file
