January 10, 2007
LAFOLLETTE (WATE) -- An attempted home invasion in LaFollette landed a would-be robber in the hospital with a gunshot to the chest. LaFollette police say the two men who are suspects, Paul Lee Bourff and Robert Wayne Evans, forced their way into a home on Hemlock Street Tuesday evening. The pair was armed. The homeowner, Charles Green, grabbed his own gun and shot Bourff. Both suspects ran to a neighbor's house. Someone there drove Bourff to a nearby hospital. He was then flown to UT Medical Center. Evans waited at the neighbor's home until police arrived. shame he didnt get both of them and they both kill over, next time need bigger gun. |
