DF2 far from dead.
 

I just won't to make it clear, for those of you who still insist DF2 is dead, you're wrong. It may have slowed down compared to the other Delta Force series, however there are atleast 38 active squads that I have found.

By active I mean, they had a url online that I found, I know there are atleast 20 others I counted with servers up but had no members in them to give me their url's.

I'd have to guess there are atleast 60+ squads averaging 10-15 players each. That's more than enough for tournaments, squad matches, and DF2 content to be put online still.

I put a list up on NovaHQ that I will update daily when I find another squad's website. Hopefully this will encourage those of you with the game to reinstall it if you haven't already.

That has been tryed so many times... Just join a public server with admins on it... Its the only way to avoid cheats.

The game is so old now that cheaters aren't a major problem at all, I see on average maybe 4 a month. So I don't see why people keep bringing that up.

Most cheats where made with Win95 and 98 in mind...Give me a squad to join and I'll install it. I'll play if Im on a squad that is active.

Aussie's Euro's vs US? That would be a pain in the ass to setup up a match... We played BFL and it always was troublesome to be able to set up a match at a decent time for all with US based Squads...

Last time we played it was at 10:00GMT, so eleven in the morning for me and 20:00 for them..

Dude do what I do....burn copies of DF2 hand them out to friends, nieghbors, put them through mail slots in doors. It honestly works.

If anyone has the chance, play DF2 with Killerbee. He will pwn ass badly. I once was in a DF2 Nova server and trust me, I killed so much and I was so happy. It was probably one of the only matches where I could play Rambo and just mow down people lol. :)

Then I go into a PW server with KB and his thread and I get my ass kicked... 100 to 1? :P

I play BHD now lol... I've gotta say, I die too much lol. Other than my slow connection, I'm starting to get better BTW too.

KB is decent yes but it's only because he has payed for so long.
