any idea how to get that out so i can get the VGA slot to plugin the HD cable for the 360? really want to avoid buying a connector (yeah yeah, £5 for it.. but i need all the money i hav.. lol)

monitor is a 15inch HP71

it is probably soldered inside. basically if you take the cable out, there will be nothing there :/

ah balls lol, oh well will go buy the converter for £5....
