They're deciding in NZ whether the cops should use them or not lol... They might abuse it and use it for bullying but I reckon the should use it.

they should be used, up til now they have usually shot people that threaten with knifes in the US and charge cops with knives, now they can just taser them.. its better than a bullet or a bean bag imo

i think they have just started usign them over here.

woouldnt give complete discresionary powers for its use, but sure cops should be able to carry and use a taser....

Im guessing those things are 100k volts.

Ive Put on a shock dog collar and turned it on and i serously fell and lost all control of my body..

And the dog collar was 10k volts lol

tasers are 50,000 volts, some kid at my school tried to steal the gun off the police officer and the kid actually got it, but then the cop had a taser on the lower part of his belt and shot the kid with it, so yea, they are a good thing
