Full MP F.E.A.R. To Be Released For Free
 

U Games sent out a press release announcing that it will release the entire multiplayer component of the Monolith developed 2005 first person shooter F.E.A.R. as a free download on Thursday, Aug. 17. The free game, called F.E.A.R. Combat, will have 19 multiplayer maps, 10 gameplay modes, 12 weapons, Punkbuster support and the ability to use user created mods. Users will have to obtain a free keycode from the http://www.joinfear.com website to be able to play F.E.A.R. Combat.

Dude thats a good thing see you get SP though and no one else does lol!I already beat F.E.A.R like a week after i got it.I played online with some and it was ok but it could of been better.Bigger maps would of been nicer.But the MP DM Mode will give you a few screams due to ppl having remarkable accuracy.

Yeah the sp is awesome!

but the mp is the main part. not alot of people buy bf2 to play the single player

u gotta buy fear tho for the single player (yeah it doesnt take long 2 complete but its still good)

hmm nothin here, more than likely they will do it in batches so that it wont overload servers..

or since its in the US they havn't made the time exact.. like the timer might have ended at 00:00 US time 2day..

I took a look on their forums, By all accounts they have a problem with the latest update compatibility with the Downloaded version of the full original game.

Patch 1.07 and original copies of F.E.A.R. that were purchased via direct download sites such as Direct 2 Drive. I didnt bother with GRAW I got it for the PS2 and it hasnt been on more than twice..:mad:
