Found out there was a new version yesterday and that time I couldn't be bothered to get it...
But today I'm downloading it right now.

I don't think MSN Messenger 8.0 installs a rootkit into your system at all... just think that it's a beta and it's got some bugs here and there. I can't imagine MSN doing that... and why would they? :/

And I'm pretty sure you can talk to Yahoo! members using a lower Messenger version than 8.0. Because I know this fella I was talking to using a Gmail... so you can sign in using your Gmail and maybe Yahoo! you do know that eh guys?
