Novahq.net Forum - Hansoons Closing

Yesterday I was told that Hansoon BallerEcke would be closing its door’s to the community.
I have talked with Hansoon about it and tried to convince him to keep his sight up, But he has made the decision to close the website down.

The history behind this I feel should be known, Because we (in my opinion) are losing one of the Best group of people we have the privilege of knowing.
Hansoon,Cavebear,Sissy,SoFuRo and Tourok took their own time to make a game that we as a community can play. They never once asked for any form of payment or reimbursement. They made this mod for the love of the game and for the community.
Since the DJ3 mod has come out, They have all been accused of stealing other peoples idea’s, dumped on by people who wish they had the Talent that the mod team has.
People have tried to take (steal) the Mod and Have Advertisements put in it for Profit purposes. This has caused great tensions with in the DJ Mod Team. Now they have turned on them self’s because of the Communities Bickering.
So Hansoon has announced that he will be shutting down the website July 1st. and the mod team will be disbanded.

So it has come to an end. We the Community have a great game to play, Have made good friends while playing. But at a great price. The Mod Team is breaking up, it has caused their friendships to weaken or dissolve.
There is nothing at this point that we can do about the closing of the website, But I stand here and applaud the mod team and thank them for their hard work, imagination and commitment. They made a game for us and were abused by the very people they made it for.
I apologize to the Mod Team for the few IDIOTS this community has and Thank You for your Excellence.
