Has anyone seen Jarhead?
 

I thought I'd ask to see if any of our good friends and cousins across the pond had been to see Jarhead and if so is it as good as it looks:)?

Tennesse here and its not on dvd yet here but i think its not in theatres because it was in theatres some time ago but they are probaly working onto getting it onto dvd by now so they usually take movies out of theatres if there about to bring dvd out!I cant wait to see it but has anyone seen Transporter 2 it will kick but! :)

some friends of mine have seen it and said that it was really good

one of my mates says theres not much to it. mostly talking and walking around. but i dont trust him so...

its an ok film, although dont base it on the trailer, it shows the war from a soldiers point of view, not alot of action

I suppose it's a fairly accurate depiction of a soldiers life in the modern world or perhaps a reflection of how it's always been for soldiers through out the ages

Boredom, being moved around for no apparent reson, momentts of intense action followed by more boredom, fear, survival and the insanity all war is!

The whole point of jarhead was to show what our friends and family are going through over there, maybe some exaggerated abit or not but the whole point shows what its really like.. I am sure killerbee can explain what it was like?

I'm sure up to point Vixxy that's precisely what this movie does.
